Cancelation/Refund Policy

If a customer wishes to cancel a photo session, such must be done at least 3 days (72 hours) prior to the time of the scheduled session. If a session is canceled in compliance with this policy, a full refund will be issued to the customer. If a customer wishes to reschedule instead of cancel, they may do so in compliance with the 72-hour cancelation policy without incurring extra charge. If, after rescheduling once, a customer wishes to cancel or reschedule a second time, the photographer may determine if any refund will be issued based on time and money already spent in preparation for the shoot. The photographer may also decide to cancel without refund at their discretion in this instance. Exceptions may be made for emergencies or other unique circumstances as discussed between customer and photographer.

The exceptions to above cancelation policy are "large events," which may include weddings or other sessions that include prior time, consultations, purchases and/or travel. In these instances, a prior-determined down payment is non-refundable to make up for output, monetary or otherwise, already exerted by the photographer. All other monetary refunds are subject to photographer's discretion in the event of a "large event" cancelation.

Full refunds are guaranteed to the customer if the photographer must cancel for non-emergencies or factors not impacted by the customer.

The photographer may determine to cancel a session with or without refund if a customer presents challenges in terms of professional conduct, payment discretion, general personal treatment toward the photographer or others, a photo session scheduled under false information, pretenses or details, and any other reason deemed necessary by photographer.

Carlywheelerphotography reserves the right to refuse service to any person without explanation, and may choose to refer customers to other photographers who will better fit their photography needs.
